Yep Women and beta males let feelings and the desire for a utopia override good sense.
The truth is that the more Kush civilization becomes the closer to it's ruin we move . Mammals are not Genetically hardwired to live with out plight, struggle and strife.
This has been replicated in several studies most notably the Mouse Utopia experiment. Where mice where given all the comforts a mouse could want plenty of habitat space , food, water etc. and every time the colony fell apart as female mice become more aggressive and male like and then engaging in selective breeding with a few Alpha partners being use as sires, removing many of the males from the gene pool and thus they began to take on more passive female traits and those males isolated away from the group and becoming more mentally dysfunctional and erratic in their behaviors. Even the brain chemistry of the mice begins to change in a utopian setting.
With no external threats or need for a large Male population to protect and work a civilization of mammals quickly falls apart it appears we have that Hardwired into our DNA.
