When two parties are in disagreement of the facts of a situation, you must pay close attention for other ways to decide who is truthful.
Lets review. Cassidy Hutchinson testified to what she saw and heard. She was advised not to lie, but that using techniques such as "I don't recall" are not really lies. Well they are, but trumplicans think they aren't. Remember this point when examining the weasely alleged testimony of the trumplicans "debunking" her.
Remember that absolutely nothing she testified about
really advances trumps guilt or innocence.
Yesterday I provided a pretty powerful rationale as to why Ms Hutchinson would have little reason to lie about.
Lets review the debunking. The trumplicans primary reason why they think they debunked her is the unnamed driver of the SUV. Now lets consider- neither you nor I
nor Cassidy Hutchinson know what happened in that limo.
She never testified what happened in the limo. She testified what she was told happened in the limo. So what happened in the limo is not really relevant to "debunking" her. But what did the still unnamed driver testify to? First and foremost he testified confirming
Ms Hutchinson's primary point was true. That trump wanted to go to the capitol building (presumably to supervise his insurrection). He testified trump made it very clear that he wanted to go to the capitol.
How did he make it clear. Did he yell he was the effing President, as Ms Hutchinson was told? We don't know they didn't release all of the testimony. He says he didn't see trump lunge forward. Was he asked if trump did lunge forward or did he just not see the lunge? We don't know.
Was he asked was there a physical confrontation with Bobby Engele as Ms Hutchinson was told? We don't know.
What was Bobby Engele's testimony? We don't know that is oddly not mentioned. Someone said that Tony Ornato testified that he first heard of Ms Hutchinson's story when he saw it on TV. What was the question that weasely
answer was given to. Sounds like it was : When did you first hear of Ms Hutchinson's story about what she was told. It certainly doesn't sound like what did you say to Ms Hutchinson later in the day about trump in the SUV! Nor-what did you hear about what happened in the SUV. It sounds like a premeditated way of avoiding the truth without straight up lying.
Now of course trumplcans on this board have rushed
to sing and dance about how Ms Hutchinson committed perjury. Its why no discussion is possible with that ilk- they doggedly reject truth, justice, and the American way.
