What they are. So here’s what they are.

Bigotry is a bias or prejudice against a particular group of people or category of things. Racism is a form of bigotry, it is bigotry against certain people based on their race. Racism is a subset of bigotry.

So for example, Donald Trump is bigoted against Democrats. That is not racism. He’s also bigoted against blacks, Hispanics, and Arabs; it is those things that make him a racist.
