Hypothesis: Biden is the only candidate Trump could beat.

Trump is divisive and he makes people crazy. Even his supporters like me.
But if an establishment republican ran against screaming Joe Biden and won, we would have another George W. Bush as president.
Biden being president means the ultra left is vulnerable and the best person to step on their necks as Donald Trump, so in a way, Joe Biden is the reason the country will be saved from the deep state, and the international Marxists.
Further, the four year hiatus between Trump administrations will give Trump a chance to be stronger, more comfortable with the DC environment and will make a stronger comparison between Trump and the now exposed ultra left.
I hope that's right, but I wouldn't bet on it.
And always remember, the Republicans could screw up a one car parade. They would fold a royal flush, and go all in with a pair of threes.
