I read Our Angry Earth by Isaac Asimov and Frederic Pohl
way back in 1991 (33 years ago!).
Yes they wrote science fiction , but they could do something no republican could do then or now- understand science (Asimov BTW wrote A LOT of non fiction)
In it , the book discussed the affects of climate change and one of the biggest was that severe weather events would become more and more common. And so it has

You can bet that most , if not all of them, are reliable republican voters. The kind that vote for politicians that sing and dance about climate change. The kind that
will NEVER consider the relationship of having their cattle barbequed with their choice of leadership.
