1979-80: Curtis Berry (our leading scorer and rebounder) is lost for remainder of the year. MU advances to sweet sixteen

1990-91: Anthony Peeler declared academically ineligible (not an injury but same impact). MU wins Big 8 championship

1994-95: Kelly Thames is lost before the season to injury. MU makes second round of NCAA tournament

2000-01: Kareem Rush breaks hand. MU makes NCAA tournament

2011-12: Laurence Bowers lost for year during the offseason. MU wins 30 games, Big 12 championship, 2 seed in nCAA tournament

2012-13: After returning from injury and being put on mid season watchlist for NPOY, Bowers gets re-injured. MU makes NCAA tournament

2017-18: Micheal Porter jr exits opening game after the first few minutes and misses the season. MU makes the NCAA tournament

Other notable examples:
Losing Linas Klieza the remainder of season to injury
Losing Stefhon Hannah the remainder of season to injury
Losing Jontay Porter for entire season to injury

The injury losses we have suffered this season pale in comparison.
