The question was, can the states disqualify a candidate for a federal office under the Constitution. Their answer was an emphatic "No!" The requirements for POTUS is in the Constitution and the 14th Amendment reserves the disqualification to Congress.
Trump was acquitted of Insurrection by the Senate and is not charged with that crime by the Biden DOJ.
