the power and value of gvmt over individual liberty and rights.
For me, that's always a clear indication of the feeling they know better and support order and structure from gvmt to ensure people don't mess up their lives.
I'm all for letting people do wonderfully dumb things to themselves > gvmt telling people what they can and can't do.
