Donner Summit got 25 feet of snow in April 1880

Mount Shasta got 16 feet of snow in 5 days in 1959

In January 1938, Tahoe City was buried under 17-feet of snow in 16 days. This was followed by a further 29-feet in just 14-days. By the end of winter, 819″ of snow was measured at Donner Pass, a record that still stands.
