"Ahead of the meeting, we spoke to Terry King, a Shawnee resident who has lived on Balentine Avenue for more than 20 years. King has lived near a home that was turned into an Airbnb a few years ago and says since then, he and his neighbors have had several problems.
“I wouldn’t say every person who uses this facility, I call it a facility because it’s not a house, they are not all a problem, but they aren’t all good either and it has its moments,” said King. “Major parties where -- there the street has been lined (with) cars. There have been fights out front, one in particular at 2 o’clock in the morning.
“We’ve had some bad instances.”

Maybe a few more fights, a stabbing or two, and some gun play are in order.
