Some of us understood that it was actually a historic failure in and of itself. That was our best chance in decades to go somewhere. Any decent major conference team could have waltzed to the Final Four from our position in the bracket. Yet Gates laid an egg to 15 seed Princeton. If you watched the game, it wasn't even competitive. It was straight up sad.
