without foul trouble then putting the hammer down for a 5 minute or so spurt that effectively ends the game.

Coaches coming into Mizzou Arena are pleased as punch to see Gates as the guy they'll be matching wits with and would like to see that continue for many, many years IMO. No need to crush Mizzou and upset the fans. A nice 5-10 point come from behind victory is best case scenario for coming in year after year for more and more bankable conference wins.
