What do they have oversight over? I feel like this might make hiring a new AD a little more difficult, who wants to have someone looking over your shoulder all the time?

Was it created because she was doing something wrong? Was it created because she's a woman?

Something just doesn't seem right with this. If they hire a man and the committee suddenly goes away that might tell us something.
