Of the entirety of life on this planet humans have the unique and inherent trait for reason and logic. René Descartes’ cogito, ergo sum is an affirmation of the discovery of natural rights, the recognition of the individual and his sovereignty of self. That is, no one has a superior claim to the mind, body, and life of another individual. I am. I think, therefore I am. You, the sovereign individual of which no one else holds claims over you, have the natural right of life, liberty, and property.

Given that no one has a superior claim to your mind, body, and life, we can conclude that no one has a right to initiate and use force against an individual who has not used force himself. In applying and examining these truths, the illegitimacy of the State and its laws is revealed because the State solely exists by force and coercion. And in further application - and affirmation - one reaches the logical conclusion that crime is only that physical, deliberate action of which there is a victim and an infringement of rights.
