You really do not have this corect. Partially maybe? The iranian proxies in syria is mainly the Syrian government itself and has grown stronger because of the attempt to overthrow Assad. Most of the Iraqi militants were there to get rid of IsiS and other sunni Wahab groups. hezbollah was established after 1982 (the lebanese civil war) The idea was to protect their land (south lebanon) and run israel out of the sheba farms and not let any foreigners influence the Lebanon government. They are Shia however they sought Irans support in 1985. since our troops are in Syria and Iraq it is only natural that most people in those areas would want the US out of there.
