I'd say volume purchasing and buying lower quality beef are factors in that scenario.

The stuff that goes to the 'big stores' is garbage.

Another thing i noticed on the beef report this week is we aren't selling as much to the 'auctions' . Like 50% less from this time last year.

I do feel like the processing plants make the lion's share of the profit in the meat industry.
