transfers like Hodge who was in his 6th year in college and 4th school. The couldn't double team Kobe like they did the previous season but he was SEC player of the week twice, national player of the week once and all SEC his junior year.

The question remains whether Gates can develop high school recruits into high level players. He never did at Cleveland State. He won with transfers.
