IMO it was a big reason we ended up in VN as the media -then NBC and CBS-- did what LBJ, Mcnamara and ultimately Nixon said.
Hey the country had the draft available-- an easy source of soldiers No other way could we have ended up with 500,000 soldiers in Bum Fck VN in the late 60s
By the mid 70s between the end of VN and Watergate the media led the liberal revolution. Still running it now with new membership including CNN, MSNBC....
Not a Trump fan at all but Biden is a blithering idiot the media still supports as Trump is their enemy
