Regarding coaching, it seems to me that with the portal and NIL, it will take even more skill (or at least different skills) for a coach to develop and keep good players and good team chemistry and composition. The depth advantages that some teams have right now might tend to evaporate. Good players won't be as willing to wait their turn. The best coaches will have to use NIL to recruit via the transfer portal.

The possibility of ending up with too many selfish players with huge NIL deals does exist, and that will tend to destroy team chemistry. What can go wrong when you have one 20 year old boy making 100k blocking for a second one making 1 million?
