He is a former Mizzou player..has mainly coached in PROs. Was the Colts DC..was a DA in 18...but Barry's superior football intelect didn't need him..he was just promoted to DL coach by Mack Brown on Wed. He's 57..still looks young and a True Son. This late in the game ( hiring cycle that is) you could do worse..but for 1 year..he could be a bridge til the next hire..or the perfect guy for next years team..as he has a Super Bowl ring with the Patriots..he knows his Xs & Os, & know his way around the recruiting trail..
Best Alumni hire out there ( I choose Ted over Alex Grinch..but that'sjust me)..or a solid fall b back if ED can't find his guy
