Sure, his wife is from there or whatever, but he's got proven success at Mizzou and is a season away from a nice HC job. He goes down to Baton Rouge and fails to resurrect an already awful defense down there and he might knock himself out of contention for the HC jobs he covets.

Mizzou is a much safer bet for where he wants to be at his next job.
