make it the start of the Age of Individualism. you are unique. you are the smallest minority. you are an individual. no one has any authority over you: not your parents, siblings, spouse, children, boss, employer, church, and especially a group of people calling themselves government and clutching at a piece of paper they claim grants them authority over you. no one thinks for you, speaks for you, or acts for you. in that you are an individual and given the preceding facts, you have a natural right of life, of liberty, and of property. you live, you exist, and you matter. Individualism is not selfish in the collectivist’s taboo meaning of the word; it is selfish in that YOU make your own decisions for what’s best for YOU, even if others may benefit from your choices and decisions. Embrace “I” and reject “we.” “We” are not in this all together; YOU are the only one with YOUR life and living YOUR life. Anything and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.

In embracing individualism and recognizing and affirming your life and your rights comes the logical extension of respecting those same natural rights each individual has. “Mind your business” means respect the life, liberty, and property rights of every individual and do not use or advocate the use of force to infringe on any individual’s rights.
