3rd straight top 8 recruiting class. Regardless of ranking this is considered the best recruiting class in Oklahoma history by those close to the program. In the 12 years while Venables was at Clemson OU had signed 1 blue chip d lineman. We have 4 now in the last two years.

#1 RB coming in, #1 TE before he reclassified, massive improvement and upgrade in talent over what Riley was doing to OU.

The casual bandwagon fan that thinks a bowl game matters might be unhappy, but who cares. The improvement in talent is undeniable.
