not surprising, everyone loves the backup when things aren't going well. But the feeling is that McCord did think there was a real possibility he would not win the job next year. That said, the Syracuse choice is perplexing. I understand he's from there, but geez, that's a program that needs a lot more than a starting QB.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
