I paused this video a minute and a half in so I haven't watched it all yet.
Here is my simple yet correct answer. Better parenting. That's it, nothing more and especially nothing less.
Every kids bully has a bully. There's always someone bigger and badder.
Kids aren't raised anymore. Parents conceive, kid is born handed an iPad while still covered in vaginal **** and the parents job is over, so they think.
No reasonable adult gives a **** about gay adults. They may not like it, disagree with it but the actual gay bashing hate crimes by one adult against another. When I say adult I'm not saying a 21 year old kid I'm talking actual grown folk. Thay number each year is very, very low.
Raise your kids with an understanding that the world didn't start on their birthday. Raise them knowing they will face adversity not only as a child but as an adult and teach them the skills to overcome adversity and obstacles.
Someone being gay doesn't make them handicapped and less capable.
