No reason the bulls haven't won ahit in the nba since Jordan and no reason for the Cardinals to not get yamamoto other than being outbid when they have a glaring need for them.
All this talk of what players make is stupid. It's the market you pay to play or you spend October fishing.
Playoffs aren't a crap shoot 90% of playoff teams have a far higher payroll than stl.
If the Cardinals were still their old pitching factory this isn't a discussion but they aren't. So times have changed either keep up or continue to hope for FOUR playoff wins in Eight years
