Not all politicians are bad folks. Some are, no doubt. But look at them int the heat - Liz Cheney a good example. Horrified by the coup she sees and stands up for the nation. Cost her a great job.

Perhaps it is the rarity of that courage that makes it so striking. Again, her and Cassidy's books are selling out, so others in the US respond too. Jim Carter, Bill Bradley, Ralph Nader were my guys. Whitmer looks like a good one too and no question Liz Warren is. So I guess you are right - many are self-serving liars which makes the good ones worthy of respect.
