The StL P-D had a nice recollection of Pete Woods and the thrilling '76 win at Ohio State:

1976 was a remarkable season, full of high highs and low lows and, though disappointing overall was one of my favorite Tiger teams. I can still hear Dan Kelly calling Curtis Brown running wild out in the LA Coliseum, Leo Lewis' TD and the 2-pt conversion drama in Columbus, and Joe Stewart's 98-yard TD at Lincoln. Such great victories, yet we lost to friggin' Iowa State, Okie State, and, worst of all, Kansas to knock us out of bowl contention.
