I would assert that his point was not a solid one for either possible meaning.
If he meant that it is no one's business what the Nashville shooter wrote in his/her manifesto I certainly disagree. The police/sheriff's department is a government office whose salaries and other expenses are paid by the taxpayers in that jurisdiction. Those taxpayers have a right to see what evidence their employees have collected.
If he meant that it is no one's business that someone was posting threats to rape and kill people on the internet, then I obviously disagree with that assertion as well.
