I do realize and fully believe that rights are not granted by people or government. Rights are given to us from God Almighty and man/government only serves to restrict those God-given freedoms and rights. While I will strive to be more careful in my choice of words, when I say things like "no country has done more to provide freedom and liberty around the world" I mean that from the standpoint of defending God-given rights and opposing forces that would work to restrict or eliminate those freedoms and rights. In my haste I get to typing and screw that up.

Perhaps a New Year's Resolution for 2024.
