Eastern msm press is the last place you should look for information on agriculture or science for that matter. There were notable stretches of abnormally hot dry weather during the 30s, 50s and 80s. Those periods were typically followed by stretches of normal to good growing seasons.
2012 and 2018 were the worst drought years with the lowest crop yields I've experienced. However, my four best years occurred during the past nine years with corn yields well over 200 bu/A and soybeans averaging over 60 bu/A. This year corn averaged about 230 and soybeans 65. If that's due to climate change, let's have more of it!
