Abortion is primary for socialists. Republicans had to have a stance on abortion that was honest and a accurate. They didn't have to shout it, and I don't believe they did. But the fear mongering left, the hateful left thinks abortion is healthcare, abortion is, a "natural, right" and abortion should be readily and easily available and probably free.

Socialists have convinced non-thinking Democrats and independents that this is the reason to vote. Not the economy, not the border, not crime, not Israel, not Ukraine. It's all about oppressed women and their rights which are being taken away by evil tyrants in the republican party.

If the left didn't lie, they wouldn't speak at all.
