dishonesty, not to mention cowardice.
You once again violate your repeated claims of refusing to discuss things with me, and presumably still refuse to answer the numerous questions posed to you by me. How utterly ridiculous and absurd you are.
You {Jeff}: “We need to have the Founders' mindset of limiting the power of government.”
Me {pickle}: what about their mindset of natural rights?
Despite your obvious dishonesty in claiming you will not engage in discussions with me, I did answer you
They erred in a huge way regarding slavery.
But still not nearly as bad as your self-contradictory stances on the non-aggression principle AND supporting a "right" to rip the arms and legs off of helpless unborn babies.
and later:
They generally did believe in natural rights, and in the rights endowed by their Creator.
I don't believe any of that is a secret.
In summation, in response to my assertion (to others in the thread, which did not include you) that “We need to have the Founders' mindset of limiting the power of government.” you jumped in wanting to tie things in to natural rights, and the Founding Father's views on natural rights.
If you wanted to do so, why not make your case? That would have been far more difficult for you to do, so in your trademark hypocritical fashion, you decide to try and query me, with a one sentence question, no less, to make your case.
I already acknowledged that the Founding Fathers believed in natural rights, while also noting that their views on that are quite different than my own views on it and presumably your own, unless you think that like the intentional brutal killing of innocent unborn human beings, slavery is also consistent with natural law.
If you want to expound upon how we need to tie the limitation of government power to natural law go for it, the floor is yours.
