Murder is sin. I don't think anyone should defend murder. I definitely wouldn't, much like the pharisees did, hold a Talmudic midrash with the 10 commandments and try to differentiate killing innocents (for the greater good, of course) with murder (the thing being defended).

I'm glad we can finally bring this to a conclusion.
