him to be re-elected. He had a terrible record on spending and failed to provide liberty-focused leadership during the pandemic. He also failed to make any material changes to DC. He governed largely like his predecessor and his successor (which, of course, is not a compliment).
With that said, I always defend people who are prosecuted by the State for non-crimes, and I'm certainly not going to make exceptions when the State is prosecuting the same person in five different venues for almost a hundred different non-crimes (especially when it's obvious to all uncontrolled people that the motivations are purely political). This is a watershed moment for the US, and if it continues down this path, the State will grow to be much more tyrannical and its leaders will become much more paranoid and aggressive. The result is that freedom loses.
I am and forever will be a defender of natural rights and civil liberties, even if the subject of the violative onslaught is an individual that I didn't care for in public office. Since I'm not a child, I can easily separate out the two.
So, yeah, I guess I'm a shill......
