If you cannot admit that government played a role in where we are today, you will always thing more government is the problem.

During the pandemic when government shut down all the small businesses, and the likes or Amazon and Walmart had huge sales increases, a friend suggested that the government just tax the big corps and give the money to the businesses that were forced to close, totally unrealizing where the problem started (I also call that the 4tigs stimulus method).
