like, if the Chinese pay double, American Farmers would just go to Canada or Mexico and buy more land....uh, you don't think those prices would rise too? Or maybe they refuse to sell you their land and you end up spending all of your newly found wealth paying more for food to eat? Or, you buy the land, but it's not as arable and costs more, economically and environmentally, to produce food?
