coaches and in one very small example the cheerleaders from my high school that would come and cheer us on.

It's not a fun sport to watch. you see people run by for 3 seconds and then as a spectator you'd have to run to a different spot and watch them run by for 3 seconds and then run to a different spot.

It's a workout to watch xc.
