Somehow I think the powers that be new he had ties that would help significantly when it came to the NIL game. All we saw as fans was a non-household name from a lower-tier university. That connection he has to the NIL part of all of this is really important. It will be interesting to see how we do as he bridges the gap from last year to this year and this year to next year when the roster is mostly freshmen that are higher rated.......but still just freshmen. Even Calipari has struggled to win with younger players. We are results driven and will still have to be patient.
