If it's so easy surely you wouldn't need three links to a story from 2015 and on shooting that wasn't even near downtown this year.

The point was proven. You googled stories on shootings near the dome and came up with one story from 2015 nearer Busch stadium and one this year from the central west end.

Based on your fear rationale you should be able to find much more than that without much effort.

Gang violence remains a big problem but sports goers aren't being mowed down en masse.
