Thank unions. 8 hour work day? Worker safety? Labor and unions. A small group vis a vis, all workers stood up and fought for rights and benefits that would be enjoyed by the many. The same can be said for civil rights, women's rights etc - a small activist group stepped forward to engage in battle for the benefit of generations.
