You think one gets a break for "coming of age" in their time? Tell you man, my generation had it all for the most part and as a rule fcked it up, as a generation. I was too young for the hippie thing, but rejected the rising greed of Gecko in the '80s. As every generation "throws a hero at the pop charts", each faces its own challenges. Hero generation faced down Fascism and had SS money to retire to Florida. Boomers were spoiled for the most part - excepting those haunted by Vietnam. And the Boomers, spoiled as they were wasted their resources. Pity. Today, those coming of age have a tough row to hoe. I get that.
