And we were told it came from some random happenstance from Chinese people eating bats, or rats, or guinea pigs or some such nonsense.

All government is corruption. And the opportunity to suppress liberty in the name of "emergency" was too good to be true.

And it also gave Communist China a great case study on how to truly destroy another country with bio weapons.

Oh, and don't say it killed a bunch of Chinese citizens. Millions and millions dead to a totalitarian communist is a statistic to be managed, not a tragedy.
