Most people don't closely track politics, or even understand current events. They take the casual general narrative of MSM. ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NYTs etc.

I have a friend who otherwise has very conservative view (less pot smoking) but doesent understand he is being kept in the dark on all issues. Illegal immigration, the BlackRock push. If you have the information and disagree, that's cool, but our press is clearly crooked.
