which is up from the previous month, which was 3%. It was the first increase in 12 months.

The current months (part 3 months or so) are also unadjusted raw BLS numbers. They are adjusted later, and always seem to go up, never down (funny, huh).

It is certainly fair to say that historically (for the last 40 years at least), even 3.2% could be characterized as "out of control".
