who on this board "changed" the most? At least in how you viewed them before, and after. Maybe they didn't change, you did..
I'll start with 2, and it isn't b/c of something personal. I don't know any of you. If anything, it's b/c I may not have paid attention prior or made assumptions which obviously made an azz of me...learning over time my prior assumptions had been wrong..
FERG - story here is, I respect Ferg and believe this is a "normal" and educated person who is pretty smart and definitely knows exactly where he/she/it (I don't GAF how "they" identify) fits on the political spectrum. This is not a person I viewed as someone who would be some kind of "fan" of Trump... Quite the opposite. Ferg is smart and pragmatic...doesn't have to be a Trump fan, but can still not be a Lincoln Project type GOPer. That's the part where I was wrong. I used to think a while back Ferg was the closest thing politically to myself on this board. Just didn't work out that way.
*m* - This is another one where I'm just thinking I wasn't really paying attention. I'm sure there's a number of libertarians on the board who had it figured out way before I did. I don't have anything against you *m*, and I've been probably unfairly critical of you due to the fact that I was wrong about you and am pist I didn't realize sooner...but Covid/Trump/2020 showed me just how much we disagreed not on policy by policy, but by beginning philosophy. When you don't even begin the math problem at the same starting point, it's already over before you get into it.
All that said, I singled you guys out only b/c there was a time I thought we all 3 were close enough to call the same..no other reason. I will try to be respectful of our differences going forward, even though that's not the part I play here normally. I (selfishly) also thought it would be great to read what some others here used to think of others prior to 2020 vs now. That's the reason for the post
