anyone that has sat on one will tell you. only prosecutors side is told. All they are to say is should charges be moved forward. so they aren't deciding guilty or innocent, just does the prosecutor have enough. from there most cases are settled. I have sat on one grand jury, been called 3 times for regular jury and never seen a trial cuz all were settled out of court. while on grand jury in Boone county we heard 25-30 case every other week.
