nothing about the Vietnam War, while LBJ was President. He was a strong 'Yellow Dog' democrat and a district committeeman. I don't recall him ever voicing an opinion on the war until Nixon was elected in 68. Then it became a republican war and he was ready to sell out, move north and buy a farm in Canada, so my Brother and I could avoid getting drafted and sent over there to die for the rich northeastern republicans.
