"There was a question earlier about in-state recruits being able to earn NIL compensation on Sept. 1 instead of when they sign their letter of intent on December. I'm told MU is still trying to clarify exactly what the law allows and what paperwork would qualify under the revised state law."

The new law appears to be a bit on the vague side.
