It's really not that bad

we've done it at least once a year since we moved to Colorado in 2014, usually 2 or 3 times. Still have a lot of family in Missouri we visit and my mom is getting older so I try to go back more frequently. The worst time of year is late winter\early spring. Still cold enough for snow, and the winds in western kansas can derail trains.

I speed the whole damn way. When I finally get pulled over I'll gladly pay the ticket, as there has never been a trip where I've gone less than 10 miles an hour over the limit through kansas, usually closer to 15-20. I should check the laws to be sure I don't go "arrested" fast.
